OUR ROOMS

The Mansion at Elfindale Bed and Breakfast consists of 13 suites which are tastefully decorated in a Victorian style. Each suite has a private bath with claw foot tub, DirecTV, and wireless internet. These suites also feature turn of the century furnishings.

Wonders Of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium.

he Johnny Morris Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium, also known as simply Wonders of Wildlife is a not-for-profit educational conservation-themed attraction in Springfield, Missouri. It is located adjacent to the Bass Pro Shops National headquarters, and is named for Johnny Morris, the Bass Pro Shops' founder.

Battle of Springfield Tour

 

In January 1863, Union forces defended the Springfield territory during the Confederate attempts to gain supplies and high-ground access. Twelve markers placed throughout the battleground commemorate where defenses were organized, troops gathered supplies, injured soldiers were hospitalized and homes were burned.

INCREDIBLE CAVES OF THE OZARKS

 

South of Springfield is Smallin’ Civil War Cave that was discovered in 1818 with even more history dating back to the Native Americans who inhabited the area before settlement. The cave features a breathtaking 11-story arch that leads you back in time.
